Since it's inception, nolimbits has been an incredible resource to individuals who have experienced limb loss. The organization has helped families navigate rehabilitation, provided life changing adaptive equipment and prosthetics, and inspired brighter futures.

We hope you will join us in our mission to provide possibilities for those with disabilities.

In 2024, we again helped sponsor the Mary Free Bed Team who are currently in Guatemala helping survivors of limb loss get their first prosthetic legs.

In addition, we have had the privilege of mentoring several people facing limb loss.

One of those individuals, Lynne, developed sepsis in the Spring of 2024 and , ultimately, underwent below knee and below elbow amputations on all 4 limbs. Nolimbits helped advocate for Lynne to receive the excellent rehabilitation care that I so fortunately accessed and funded inpatient treatment at Mary Free Bed that was not covered by insurance. Marty and I joined Lynne and her husband last week at Roses for her first dinner out with prosthetic arms and legs.

Earlier Projects:

Nolimbits purchased a wheelchair accessible van for Mawqar, a 10 year old with cerebral palsy who was unable to participate in community activities due to mobility challenges .

Nolimbits created care packages for amputees with adaptive tools for activities of daily living.

Nolimbits initiated a  school based peer mentorship program with recreational therapy opportunities in the community for children with physical disabilties.

Nolimbits partnered with a local school district to create a working prosthetic hand using 3d printing.

Nolimbits helped Zoey, who was born without one of her upper limbs, travel to Mary Free Bed in order to be fitted for a myo-electric prosthetic hand.

Nolimbits purchased an adaptive bicycle and scooter for a multiple limb amputee.

We hope you will join us in our mission to provide possibilities for those with disabilities.
